Plastic Planet: Reduce, Reuse, Rethink!

Saturday, April 26, 2025

Museum Hours: 10:00 am - 5:00 pm

The Health Museum

1515 Hermann Drive,  Houston, TX 77004

This Earth Week, the American Chemical Society is thrilled to join forces with The Health Museum for an inspiring initiative that tackles plastic pollution head-on! Get ready to explore the fascinating world of plastic use—from the tiniest microplastics that permeate our environment to the everyday items we often overlook. Together, we’ll  discover innovative, eco-friendly alternatives that can truly make a difference.

As part of this initiative, The Health Museum is proud to support its Reclaimed Creations exhibit, featuring jaw-dropping sculptures by the talented artist Sayaka Ganz, created entirely from discarded plastic. It's a perfect blend of art and environmental awareness that you won’t want to miss! Join us on April 26th, for a variety of engaging, hands-on activities that will deepen your understanding of the plastic life cycle and empower you to practice plastic consciousness in your daily life.

Let’s take action together and make every choice count toward a greener future! This is your chance to be part of an exciting journey toward sustainability—come be inspired!
