National Chemistry Week - Fabulous Fibers
The Theme this year is Fabulous Fibers: The Chemistry of Fabrics. We plan to have a Theme Table and 4 other tables of hands-on activities for the kids. The Theme Table will feature a Periodic Table quilt (Catherine Faler) and samples of fabrics to touch and put on. There will be a Play-Doh table for kids to assemble molecules and three tables of hands-on chemistry activities. The hands-on activities planned are Color Changes with Juices, Slime, and Bali Batiking.
