After analyzing the evolving job market, the SPE-GCS Career Advancement Network (CAN) Committee has decided to shift its planned Fall 2024 Energy Professionals Hiring Event into a Career Advancement Workshop, set for November 12 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. This change is all about enhancing CAN’s support for job seekers and creating more opportunities for success in our upcoming hiring events. In this first workshop, CAN is excited to offer to job seekers:

• Insights from hiring managers and HR representatives about the current job market
• Resume and CV guidance
• Career mentorship
• Tips on effective job search strategies

We’ll also focus on the skills companies are seeking in employees, which is key to boosting your job search success!

As a collaborating organization, ACS-GHS members are welcome to participate in this event.

Volunteers are needed on 12 NOV 2024 at 3 pm to help work with our job seekers for Resume Reviews, LinkedIn Profile / Activity reviews, Mock Interviews, Job Seeker Work Plans etc. The workshops will divided into interest areas, the more volunteers available, the more attention each job seeker will be able to receive. Volunteers register here:  https://www.spegcs.org/events/7008/
