The 23rd Annual ChemLuminary Awards ceremony will be held virtually during National Chemistry Week (October 17–23, 2021). The ceremony will include a keynote address by Mary K. Engelman, recipient of the 2021 Award for Volunteer Service to the American Chemical Society, and presentations of awards given by 18 committees of the Society. This year's theme, “ACS Volunteers Catalyze Change”, honors the work of our volunteers to continue to improve people’s lives.
Award-winning Local Sections, Technical Divisions, International Chapters, and Regional Meetings will receive a cash prize and a ChemLuminary award plaque. We are pleased to share that the Greater Houston Local Section has been selected as a finalist for the ChemLuminary Award for Outstanding Section Performance - Large Size Category.
