In this webinar, Estes Rockets - the world leader in model rocketry -  will be discussing the basics of rocketry and the chemistry behind a launch! Join us to see how a background in chemistry can ignite your future into aerospace and beyond. This seminar is targeted for middle and high school students.

Biography: A native of New England, Nicole fell in love with science at a young age after her first rocket launch. She went on to receive her doctorate in biochemistry as a National Science Foundation fellow, actively leading community outreach and initiatives. Nicole has worked with several organizations, schools, and universities to create successful programming and teach chemistry and biology. She currently works at Estes Industries where she is the Education & Outreach Specialist. Nicole has many passions that she integrates into her work including advocating for STEM, effectively communicating science, and making education inclusive.
