SPE - Hands-On Innovation Workshop
Innovation is very important for engineers' careers, but Innovation 101 is not a course taught in college. Nevertheless, companies expect engineers to be innovative today, especially during the Energy Transition. This hands-on workshop will take attendees through the process of innovation, from ideation to naming, from feature design to prototype building, and from collaboration to marketing. Work in teams to design and build amazing gizmos, culminating in a Shark Tank style competition. ACS members are welcome to attend.
